Re: Tparty

Generally to make addons align properly as-is, make your menu resolution match your window resolution.

Re: gamepad button event

1. GetHandle returns the hook module handle, not the window handle you are looking for. You would want to use: virtual Ashita::aswindowinfo_t* GetFFXiWindowInfo(void) const = 0; Should be: m_AshitaCore->GetFFXiWindowInfo()->Hwnd 2. Ashita does not expose a SetTarget function directly, you would need...

Re: Tparty

If you use a non-standard / altered menu resolution it will affect where things show up. All the addons were written before SE added the ability to change the menu resolution (aka UI scale) so they do not account for custom resolution alterations for that.

Re: gamepad button event

Your initial code should be in the plugins Initialize call. If you need to call something constantly to check for data, use the Direct3DRender call for that. As for blocking inputs and such you would have to code your stuff to look for the multiple button presses at the same time and ignore as needed.

Re: gamepad button event

Are you coding a plugin or an addon? I'd assume a plugin for this so I'll answer as if that's true. 1. Plugins are initialized from an export then told to "load" via the class you exposes function "Initialize". Take a look at the example plugin project to get a grasp of how things should be setup: h...

Re: gamepad button event

Their plugin specifically says Xbox controllers, so I'd assume he's probably hooking XInput himself and handling the key presses of the controller manually. Ashita does not handle XInput internally at all. It only has basic handling of DirectInput controllers to allow background usage and such.

Re: struct.unpack

http://ashita.atom0s.com/wiki2/doku.php?id=addons:functions:bits The bits unpacking stuff is listed there. As for struct.unpack, this is just a general lib inclusion to the main Lua library itself. You can find more info on how to use that here: http://www.inf.puc-rio.br/~roberto/struct/ As for what...

Re: Missing UI

This is generally due to bad resolutions.

Try these instead:
- Window: 1680x1050
- Background: 4096x4096
- Menu: 1680x1050

If you are copying the same resolution as your monitor/desktop, uncheck 'Show Border' option as well.
